Who this notice covers
This notice describes information handling by the operator of WebServices Press at webserives.press. The operator is responsible for the website’s data processing. For privacy questions or requests, use the contact form and select “Privacy request.”
Information collected
Reading articles does not require an account. When you submit an inquiry, we collect your name, email address, selected topic, message, and submission time. A security token is used to prevent duplicate submissions. Do not include sensitive personal information or private credentials.
For form abuse prevention, we store a keyed, pseudonymous representation of the connecting network address and a submission counter. The application does not save the raw address in its contact database. Hosting systems may separately record network addresses, requested URLs, browser information, and connection timestamps in technical access logs.
Calculator privacy
The API Payload Calculator processes the text and connection speed you enter within your browser. It does not send that content to our server or any external service, and it does not save it in browser storage. Content remains in the page while you use it; your browser may independently restore form fields according to its settings.
Purposes and legal bases
We use contact information to review inquiries, respond to questions, and improve our educational resources. Where the GDPR applies, our legitimate interests in providing support and maintaining a secure website are the basis for ordinary inquiries and abuse prevention. Processing may also be necessary to fulfill a request before providing a service, or to comply with a legal obligation. The privacy acknowledgement is not consent to marketing.
Cookies and tracking
The contact page uses an essential session cookie for form security. The application sets no advertising or analytics cookies, contains no marketing pixels, and does not build behavioral profiles. The session cookie expires at the end of the browser session, subject to the browser’s session restoration behavior. Blocking it prevents the contact form from working.
Storage, recipients, and security
Contact messages are stored in a private server database outside the public website directory. Access is intended for the operator and authorized people handling inquiries. Hosting providers process information as needed to operate the server. We do not sell inquiry information. We may disclose information where legally required or necessary to protect the service and lawful rights.
We use access restrictions and request validation to reduce risks, but no website can guarantee absolute security. Hosting location, service providers, access-log retention, and backup practices depend on the operator’s actual deployment. If data is transferred internationally and applicable law requires safeguards, the operator must establish those safeguards with the provider.
Retention
Contact records are kept for up to 90 days under the website’s retention schedule. The application removes older records during successful submission processing and provides a server cleanup command for scheduled maintenance. Abuse-prevention counters use a one-hour window and are removed during cleanup. Backups and hosting logs may have separate retention schedules.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing. We may ask for proportionate identity verification before acting on a request.
You may complain to the data protection authority in your place of residence, work, or the location of an alleged infringement. Contact us if you need help identifying the information connected to your inquiry. Rights and response requirements depend on the law that applies to your request.
Children and updates
The site provides general technical education and does not seek personal information from children. A parent or guardian should submit contact requests on a child’s behalf. Please notify us if a child has supplied personal information inappropriately. Material changes to this notice will appear here with a revised effective date.
